Rapper and home renovation guru Vanilla Ice gives update on brewery in Lake Worth Beach
The brewery will be in a nearly 100-year-old building that once was a Masonic lodge.
Robert Van Winkle, a Palm Beach County resident known worldwide as rapper Vanilla Ice, says the grand opening of his Lake Worth Beach brewery is going to be epic and is “coming soon.”
In an Oct. 1 TikTok post, the 57-year-old gives a tour of construction at what he calls the future “Vanilla Ice brewery” at 1000 Lake Ave.
The brewery, which will include a museum, outdoor venue and rooftop bar, is in a nearly 100-year-old building downtown that was formerly a Masonic lodge about a block from City Hall.
In a 2022 status update, Van Winkle said he expected the brewery to be open in six months. Three years later, the Oct. 1 social media post shows an active construction site with a finished bar in the center of a large room but with little else completed…

I Love The 90s Tour Artists to Honor Coolio at Haute Spot on Sunday, October 9 with Free Livestream Tribute
Cedar Park, TX – Multi-platinum and Grammy-winning rapper Coolio was set to perform on Sirius XM’s ‘90s on 9 Presents The I Love The 90s Tour with Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, All 4 One, Tone Loc and Young MC when he was found unresponsive at a friend’s home on September 28, 2022 after suffering a heart attack.
In response, the Oct. 9 I Love The 90s show will feature a tribute to Coolio and the entire show will be live-streamed for free from Haute Spot via
VanillaIce.com. Donations from the event will benefit Coolio’s family. The livestream is presented courtesy of Universal Attractions Agency and Lightstream Media, the multimedia production arm of Lightstream Presents. Vanilla Ice says regarding the loss of his very close friend, “This is going to be a very tough weekend for me, in fact extremely tough. I just listened to Coolio’s songs and I am super emotional. I just spoke to his son and his band members. I’m going to get through this, but needed this tribute to Coolio to be very special.”
Jeff Epstein, co-owner of Universal Attractions Agency acknowledged, “We have suffered unimaginable loss last week with the passing of Coolio. He was a true star and an integral part of the I Love The 90s tour. In his honor, we and Lightstream Presents will continue to celebrate his impact on the industry and the success of his career this Sunday at The Haute Spot.”

Show will use virtual reality to show consumers how to complete affordable versions of renovations
Vanilla Ice is back with a brand new show.
The South Florida-based rapper, actor and professional home flipper is partnering with BrandStar Studios to launch “The Vanilla Ice Home Show.”
The show, based in South Florida, is expected to be picked up by a network by the second quarter of next year. Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, said each season will be 13 episodes long, and the show will rely heavily on virtual and mixed reality technology.
